Greg Dixon

Princeton Reverb Amp Captures, Profiles and Tone Models.

Greg put the finishing touches on his video demonstrating the Fender Princeton Reverb Amp Captures, Tone Models and Profiles. He’s shared a video of the sounds so that you have some samples to give you an idea of the range and tone that’s in this Prince of Tone pack. Available here in the shop.

This Fender Princeton Reverb is a ‘68 Custom Amp – with other customisations that you can catch up on – I’ll let you know about that in a minute.

Greg puts in the work, making sure that the Captures are of the amp in its best condition, giving a top performance in the studio environment. This means that when you listen to the sample sounds, you really can hear the difference.

There’s great performance range from all the Clean, Crunchy, and Overdriven captures from the Full Set up (where a cab is set up with mics, to capture the sound), and if you want to put the amp only DI versions through your own Impulse Response setup, or your own cab, every pack comes as Full + DI, so it’s your choice.

You may have seen the Amp before in one of Greg’s speaker comparison videos. But here, Greg gives us a lot more information about the components, modifications and care he takes in keeping an Amp in top performance condition.

If you’re unable to crank an amp when you practice and play, you really need to check out the Full Set-up Captures from the Overdrive range, have a listen to the Sample Sounds video here .

You can enjoy big gig sounds in a quiet place at home! Everybody’s happy!

Keep playing, because music is necessary for life!
